Send Seeds

Besides offering a map for existing small food gardens of the world to come together and show their individual power in a collective manner, WorldFoodGarden.org is also geared towards providing individual gardeners and philanthropists with the infrastructure they need to create and trace their direct philanthropic and environmental impact on the world. Using the new technological age for good, individuals participating in research, travel, sponsorship, and communications, are creating complex networks with each other making it possible for philanthropists of all shapes, sizes and backgrounds to browse the World Food Garden map and easily connect hungry families in need of food with open-pollinated, non-GMO seeds and instructions on how to grow them. The WorldFoodGarden.org infrastructure eliminates the necessity of relying upon large organizations to take care of the philanthropic efforts for the rest of the world. We believe that every individual is inclined to do good when they are able to see and trace the direct effect of their choices.

WorldFoodGarden.org provides them with this capacity by creating a direct connection between potential philanthropes and families in need, to give a lifetime of hope via the simplicity of sending a packet of seeds to start a small food garden. In the new technological age, philanthropically inclined individuals can spread hope by starting gardens across the world with the simple click of a mouse (this infrastructure will be available as more gardeners, travelers and researchers join the network - invite your friends!)
